Young designers in Detroit are staying in Michigan and building their careers right here! Our Fashion Industry Club teaches youth how to design, produce, and sell their own creations, and some have even showcased at New York Fashion Week. Plus, they earn up to $15/hour while learning, helping alleviate financial barriers to youth participation in workforce development programs. It’s time to close the equity gap in after-school programs. Help us make this opportunity a reality for all teens!

Did you know that over 90% of jobs now require digital skills? In Michigan, the talent gap continues to grow as many STEM graduates leave the state in search of better opportunities. Our Mobility Industry Club is part of the solution, teaching teens coding, app development, and drone skills, preparing them for high-demand careers here in Michigan. Through paid learning opportunities, we’re ensuring all youth have equal access to these life-changing programs.

Our Entertainment Industry Club is closing that gap by providing youth with hands-on experience in videography, set design, and broadcasting. Through paid opportunities, we’re creating equity and access, ensuring that financial hardships won’t hold our youth back from achieving their dreams. MOS had an incredi-bowl time earlier this month sponsoring and participating in the 2nd annual Celebrity Bowling charity event with Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions. The wide receiver traded his football for a bowling ball to knock down the competition (and pins 🎳). Proceeds supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, which inspires, educates and empowers local youth.
