We’re thrilled to kick off another year of partnering with Dallas ISD, bringing an innovative STEAM program to their district featuring the acclaimed Broadway show HADESTOWN! Thanks to our presenting sponsors, The Addy Foundation, Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, H-E-B/Central Market, Texas Counter Fitters, and Galleria Dallas, 3,400 students and teachers from 26 Dallas ISD high schools will engage in a unique curriculum led by Broadway Dallas teaching artists over several weeks. Exciting news! We're hosting our second two-day SoulWork Intensive with Dr. Cristal Chanelle Truscott and Tiana Kaye Blair this Fall! This 9-hour workshop dives deep into the SoulWork Method for professional theater artists. SoulWork is a comprehensive method for making performance and training artists developed by Dr. Truscott from generations-old African American performance traditions and aesthetics. SoulWork empowers artists to engage the fullness of their identities by cultivating creative power through an inclusive, culturally-responsive, and socially-conscious studio practice.
