The 24th Annual National Buffalo Wing Festival will return to Sahlen Field, its original home in Downtown Buffalo, on August 30-31, 2025! After spending the past four years at Highmark Stadium, the festival will journey back to the home of the Buffalo Bisons, where it all started in 2002. “We are beyond excited to bring the National Buffalo Wing Festival back to Sahlen Field,” said “Wing King” Drew Cerza, founder and organizer of the festival. “For nearly two decades it was the perfect backdrop for celebrating Buffalo’s signature dish. The energy, the atmosphere, intimacy of the field layout, and the connection to Buffalo’s vibrant downtown, this is the ideal location moving forward. We can’t wait to welcome wing lovers from all over the world back to this historic site! Our thanks go out to the Buffalo Bills for a great four years at Highmark Stadium”. Want to start by saying thank you to everyone at the Bisons for an unbelievable 2024 season, but especially Geoff Lundquist, Anthony Sprague, and everyone in the sales department. I learned so many things I will carry with me throughout the rest of my career and life. I would also like to say I am proud to announce I am sticking around, and have accepted a full time position as an Account Executive with the Buffalo Bisons!
