📢 [#ChooseFrance Awards] Since 2019, the “Choose France” Awards have recognized foreign businesses that have chosen France to set up or further expand their European presence. Organized by Business France, under the supervision of the French government, these awards highlight the reasons why France has become the first destination in Europe for direct foreign investments. To be considered, foreign companies must have already completed an investment project that they had previously announced at the Choose France Summit, which takes place in Versailles, every year in May. A jury composed of Pascal Cagny, Chairman of Business France’s Board of Directors, and representatives from the business world, then selects the projects that best exemplify the many reasons why investors choose France. 🏆 This year, the “Talents and training for the future” award went to the American water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services business, Ecolab, which opened its European research and development center in Sainghin-en-Mélantois (Hauts de France region), alongside Anios Laboratories in 2020. A €25 million investment, this R&D center dedicated to healthcare anchored the group’s further in France ; its 1900 employes work in 3 other production sites in the Grand Est (home to the largest factory in Europe), Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Hauts de France regions, as well as two major R&D sites, including that of Sainghin-en-Mélantois. [Art de Vivre à la Française] 💫The debut of the Art de Vivre à la Française exhibition in Washington D.C. was a resounding success!
