2024 has been a year of action and progress for California Forever as we work to build the next great American city. From designing a city with well-paid jobs, affordable homes, and clean energy to submitting over 20,000 voter signatures for the East Solano Plan, we’re committed to turning this vision into reality. With community-driven investments, healthcare partnerships, and a dedication to solving California's toughest challenges, we want to show that California can build again on a timeline that actually improves the lives of California’s families. It’s time for California to once again lead the charge in rebuilding the American Dream. It’s time for California to build again.

In July, we reached an agreement with the county to reorder the steps we're going through to get our project approved. We removed the East Solano Plan initiative from the November ballot and began work with all stakeholders to prepare a single, combined set of approvals. With the initiative off the ballot and the new year approaching, we are excited to launch a new website and return the website and social handles to California Forever—the company, rather than the ballot initiative. Our mission remains unchanged: to build the next great American city. We will continue to create a place for America to build again—new industries with well-paid jobs, affordable homes in walkable neighborhoods, and new sources of clean energy. And we’re here to show that California can build again – not in 20 years, or even 10, but on a timeline that actually improves the lives of California’s families.

For over a decade, the U.S. has faced a critical housing shortage, with new construction lagging behind population growth. This gap has driven up home prices, increased rents, and pushed affordable housing out of reach for millions of families. The data is clear: we need bold action to address this crisis. Our plan will streamline regulations, invest in infrastructure, and embrace smart growth so that we can build the homes that Solano County desperately needs. It’s time to build and create a future where every Solano family can afford a place to call home.

Regulations matter. In California, housing and job opportunities are slipping away as local zoning laws and government regulations drive up costs—by as much as 40% for housing, and even more for businesses. Over the past decade, our state has consistently lost more workers to other states than it has gained, with professionals leaving at a higher rate than that of those moving to CA to join the workforce. It’s time to leave behind policies like the Orderly Growth Initiative, which hampers affordability, jobs, and economic growth. It’s time to start building again. #CaliforniaForever

Yesterday, we were announced as founding members of The New American Industrial Alliance (NAIA)— a multi-sector trade association dedicated to ensuring that America is the techno-industrial leader of the world. The alliance is made up of builders, investors, and policymakers coming together to steer the country toward the policies, partnerships, and institutions that will unlock the full potential of American innovation to usher in a new era of industry here in the U.S. We remain committed to bringing opportunities to Solano County to get California building again!

We are going to make it in America 🏭 🇺🇸 Today, along with my co-founders Aaron Slodov, Chris Power and Julius Krein, I am proud to officially launch NAIA: the New American Industrial Alliance. NAIA is building an alliance of founders, investors, and policymakers who will together restore America's industrial might. America is a nation of builders. A nation of pioneers. But for decades, America's builders have been stifled by bad policy in DC. Our resources have been trapped underground. Our jobs have been sent overseas. The American people have suffered; our adversaries have gotten rich. The collapse of American industry was a choice. But just as deindustrialization was a choice, we can choose to reindustrialize. In June, hundreds of builders, investors, and government officials met at the inaugural Reindustrialize Summit in Detroit. They chose to bet on America. The Reindustrialize Summit (cofounded with Aaron Slodov, Falon Donohue and Gregory M. Bernstein) became a rallying call, uniting individuals and institutions with a shared vision of American greatness. We founded NAIA to turn this vision into reality. To unleash America's builders, and restore America's position as a global industrial leader. NAIA will serve as the voice, visionary, and vanguard of this industrial revival. We will advocate tirelessly on behalf of our members to cut regulation, incentivize investment in key sectors, protect American workers, streamline government contracting and procurement, and more.
