New Recruits and Training: We welcomed and trained hundreds of new firefighters and staff, equipping them with the skills needed to respond to California’s evolving fire and emergency needs. Innovation & Resources: CAL FIRE leverages cutting-edge technology, from drones to real-time fire mapping systems, enhancing response times and safety for both firefighters and the public.
