What a kick-starting year 🚀 From experts to a dream team. From remote to "nearby." From online to onsite. And 2 promotions 🎉. Building Sales and Marketing at a kick-ass tech startup globally? ✅ Done. What didn’t change from Snowflake to Calibo? The thrill of uncertainty, the power of creative, visionary leaders, and the ride to figure it all out. 🔄 Rewind a bit... I was fortunate to win over some amazing individuals: 🧠 Tech wizards 🎯 Marketing masters ✍️ Writing geniuses 🤹♂️ All-rounders juggling multiple roles in sales—technical and non-technical. As our pipeline grew globally 🌍, so did our team. Now proudly represented in the US, Canada, UK, Spain and Switzerland, we focused on helping these individuals to work as a team and make their own decisions, not taking them all myself.   🌍 From Remote to Real-life Connections Building trust also means meeting face-to-face. While a weekly lunch isn’t feasible for a global team, we gathered in: 📍 Zurich • Alicante • London • Madrid. Its goal is to support data access across the business through flexible, reusable, augmented and sometimes automated data integration. 2️⃣ Data fabric has emerged as a solution to the common challenge of collecting, connecting, integrating and delivering data from dispersed data sources to the users who need it. 3️⃣ Data fabric appeals to many organizations because it leverages existing metadata as well as infrastructure, such as logical data warehouses. There is no “rip and replace” with a data fabric design. Instead, organizations can leverage data fabrics to augment (or completely automate) data integration design and delivery, while capitalizing on sunk costs in existing data lakes and data warehouses.
