In partnership with Scott Running, we have developed the world's first ever bio based composite plate that doesn't compromise on performance for their latest trail runner, the Ultra Explore. The Ultra Explore utilizes a Carbitex GearFlex plate made of 50% flax fiber and 50% carbon fiber fused with bio resin. In addition Scott Sports has used recycled materials in the upper, laces, footbed, midsole, and outsole. These elements comprise 58% of the products composition by weight.
