Clara is not just an innovator but a true believer in the power of mentorship, connection, and growth. Clara’s journey as an MSU Alumni started 10 years ago in London, since then, she’s never stopped building and inspiring! Her dedication to developing students through encouragement and genuine connection is at the heart of everything we do here at CareerStar. As the President of the Michigan State University Alumni Association for NYC, Clara works tirelessly to support Spartans in the city. From volunteering to career mentoring and hosting events that bring people together, she embodies the Spartan spirit. She’s also a proud member of the MSUACGNY Board of Directors, collaborating with other dedicated alumni to create social, educational, athletic, and entertainment opportunities for Spartans year-round. Through CareerStar, Clara has created a platform that’s encouraging, useful, and fun - because professional development should feel empowering, not intimidating. Her passion for helping students succeed after graduation shines in every aspect of her work. Clara does everything she can to inspire and empower the next generation. CareerStar are currently hiring for a Marketing & Social Media Intern! This is a PAID position. Be part of a fun, collaborative and innovative team that has already changed people's lives. This is a 4-5 hour a week time commitment for 3 months (excluding holiday break of course). We’re looking for a (paid) dedicated Marketing & Social Media Intern who is passionate about developing content that helps people, while being part of a fun and supportive environment. He’s leading our end-to-end software development efforts, owning everything from architecture design to database management, development, testing, and deployment. His work on CareerStar is paving the way for a platform that empowers users to find their next career adventure and simplifies the path to career success into bite-size, actionable steps. 🎉 What makes us proud? For instance, having a simple way to share your ideas after an interview can leave a lasting impression. Another powerful reminder was the importance of being proactive. Whether it’s reaching out, attending events, or practicing how you present yourself, every small step adds up. It’s not just about waiting for opportunities; it’s about creating them. 💪 What I loved most was the sense of empowerment these ideas bring.
