  • Not all paid spokespeople are created equal — even a celebrity. We use a checklist to decide if someone is the right paid spokesperson for a job: ✅ Does this celebrity’s image, personality, and values align with your brand? ✅ Will your potential spokesperson reach the right audience? ✅ Have they helped other brands succeed, or have their endorsements been lackluster or negatively received? You never want to slap a name or face to an important campaign without connecting the right dots. We talk more about our most successful activations and campaigns with paid spokespeople — and why they succeeded. Apply those learnings to your strategy: https://lnkd.in/guyHdM-8

  • It’s time for another episode of What Do We Do Anyway? This time, Carver Maria Habermann’s kids chime in with their best guess (and a lot of meows) on what they think their mom does every day at Carve. Spoiler: they think we make toys. We wish! Close — but we do help toy brands (and lots of others!) shine with sustainable PR and smart content strategies. Hey, Maria, maybe we can add “toy testers” to the job description next year? 😉

  • We’re feeling sentimental right about now… There were a lot of big milestones for us this year: 👉🏽 Our 10th anniversary, marked by our acquisition of Freeman PR in November. 👉🏽 Becoming the Agency of Record for many B2C and B2B brands. 👉🏽 Another successful “Carve X” – our exclusive media event – at Gen Con Indy 2024. 👉🏽 A live conversation with Tech Target’s Senior News Writer, Don Fluckinger, on LinkedIn. 👉🏽 We were the weekly Wordle in October! 👉🏽 Recognition from PR News as one of the industry’s most innovative PR and marketing firms. We can’t wait for next year with all our Carvers, clients, and media partners. See you in 2025!

  • Next gen media. Better ways to measure PR. How AI factors into media relations. We asked the experts – our Carve PR pros and external marketing and PR professionals – the trends they think will impact media and PR in 2024. Here’s a sneak peek from Carver Jess Pechie: “People are tired of trying to determine whether they are being promoted to or if they’re engaging with a genuine piece of content. Whether it’s social media, broadcast, print or digital media, there will be a much richer desire for humanistic values from those interacting with it.” The experts have spoken — read the roundup now! https://lnkd.in/gaiGJ_By
