"I was actually the first woman hired by my company to work on the tools." - Delaney Krieger (RSE Interior Systems Mechanic & Career Support Specialist, Build a Dream). Delaney is not alone. Women make up less than 30% of Canada’s #STEM workforce, according to Statistics Canada, but luckily that balance is shifting as more women gain STEM post-secondary qualifications. At this year's #CatalystHonours, women leaders representing the engineering, tech, and trades sectors got together to discuss their workplace experiences. We've gathered their insights for you: ⬇️ https://ow.ly/OXtk50UqcZh 👏 There are a number of organizations working to encourage girls and young women to pursue their interests in #STEM, such as Build a Dream and See it Be it STEM it led by Catalyst Canada Advisory Board Chair Linda Hasenfratz.
