Today, we proudly launched our latest advanced training and specialization service, the Tech Training Hub. This marks a significant milestone for our institution, on a morning enriched by the presence of several prominent national entities and institutions, including João Ribau from ANI | Agência Nacional de Inovação , Ricardo Banha, Coordinator of Digital Transition at the PRR - Recuperar Portugal Mission Structure, and Sandra Martins from Ponto Digital. The event also introduced Eva, the Tech Training Hub's virtual assistant, who will play a key role in supporting trainers and trainees in their advanced training sessions. "With this initiative, I am confident that the Tech Training Hub at CCG/ZGDV Institute will not only position Portugal as a leader in digital policy but will also drive competitiveness and innovation within our business ecosystem. By fostering advanced skills development and promoting effective technology transfer, we are building strong bridges between scientific knowledge and real market needs," stated Ricardo J. This high-level training service aims to enhance organizational capacity and foster the promotion, sharing, and transfer of scientific and technological knowledge developed in-house to various sectors, companies, organizations, and human resources. In the third session of The Mind That Sees, Ricardo J. Machado invited João Martinho Moura to discuss the topic "Information Visualization: A Path Between Data, Instrumentation, Science, and Art." This session shared insights into how information, data, science, and art can harmonize in multiple ways. The seminar series The Mind That Sees is part of the course “Presentation and Visualization of Information” within the Master's program in Information Systems Engineering and Management at the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho. However, it is also open to the wider student and non-student community interested in various related topics.

Rui Ribeiro, Technical Coordinator of the EPMQ Department, participated yesterday in the BSN Technology and Innovation event, organized by the Rede do Empresário, as part of the panel on Smart Cities: Technology at the Service of Urban Life. This panel discussed current challenges and future expectations for this field. Rui Ribeiro spoke about projects already carried out at the CCG/ZGDV Institute in collaboration with various entities, presenting practical examples and solutions that can be implemented. The panel also featured Vera Guedes (GUEDES CORRENTE), Miguel Guerra (Brighten Consulting), Cláudio Martins (Visualforma - Tecnologias de Informação, SA), Rui Mesquita (Câmara Municipal de Lagoa). It was moderated by Filipe Monteiro (Lead Lab Digital).
