CSPI's Thomas Galligan, Ph.D. made an appearance on NPR yesterday to talk about the FDA's upcoming decision on whether or not to ban Red dye No. 3. And he's right! Our food supply would be much better off without harmful synthetic dyes.

Health misinformation runs rampant online, with a likelihood of expansion, in part thanks to growing usage and usability of social media and generative AI. That's a wrap on the #BAHISummit2024! Yesterday was the final day of the 2024 Bloomberg American Health Summit, where CSPI's own DeAnna Nara PhD, MSc, LDN, CNS, Cassie Harrison-Ramos, PhD, and Ashley Hickson, DrPH, MPH dove more into the Food Systems for Health focus area. This group focuses on how food systems relate to health and equity, from food insecurity and the quality of our diet to the long-term sustainability of food production and distribution.
