We first covered HILOS in 2021 (links below) two years after the startup was founded. Since the beginning, the company has utilized 3D printing to craft footwear that hit the mark for circularity and material frugality. The image in slide 1 is from our 2021 coverage. The image in slide 2 is from the 2024 IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show! AM's Stephanie Hendrixson saw the new heel style at the Hawk Ridge Systems booth. Every part of the shoe is made by Multi Jet Fusion except for the leather cover on the footbed. The color comes from CERAKOTE®.
