Restoring Lives Impacted By Trauma.
About us
The Children & Family Advocacy Center was established after the merge of the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County and Restoration Village, two long-standing non-profits dedicated to restoring the lives of those impacted by trauma. In 2023 the two organizations merged to better serve their community as ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION. ONE VOICE. The Children & Family Advocacy Center's purpose is to empower those impacted by trauma by providing a safe place to receive comprehensive services through a coordinated team approach from dedicated trauma-informed professionals.

Meet Maria and her son James. After years of hardship, including escaping an abusive relationship, they found hope and resilience at the Children & Family Advocacy Center. Through our residential program, Maria found a safe home and received therapy, support, and job training, empowering her to secure stable employment. Meanwhile, James thrived in our enrichment programs, rediscovering the joy of childhood. Today, after two years of hard work and dedication, Maria and James are living in their own apartment, with Maria heading to work and James smiling on his way to school. Their journey is a testament to the power of community support and resilience. Stories like theirs are made possible by the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and staff. With your help, we can continue to empower women and children, one family at a time. #ResilienceInAction #CFAC #StrongerTogether #Empowerment #CommunitySupport #HopeForTheFuture

Collaboration is the cornerstone of protecting our children and ensuring their voices are heard. 💙 This month, we were proud to host The MDT Approach to Child Abuse Training session. This training focused on strengthening teamwork, building trust among partners, and enhancing how we collaborate with external agencies to effectively address child abuse cases. By bringing together professionals from various disciplines, we focused on developing a unified response that prioritizes child safety and well-being while ensuring justice is served. Our multidisciplinary team gained valuable insights and practical tools to improve communication, streamline processes, and support the children and families we serve. Empowering our team with this knowledge reinforces our unwavering commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow up safe, loved, and supported. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for protecting our community’s most vulnerable and creating a brighter future for children and families. 🌟 #ChildSafety #MDTApproach #CollaborationMatters #ChildFirst #StrongerTogether #restorelives #breakthecycle #buildingresilientfamilies #endchildabuse #traumahealing #empowerfamilies

A big thank you to photographer and pastor, Isaac King, for his incredible generosity! Isaac donated his time and talent to provide beautiful fall family photos for clients in our residential program. He went above and beyond, making the kids feel at ease by teaching them about his camera and how it works. For some families, this was the first professional photo session they’ve ever had—an unforgettable gift they’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Isaac, for capturing memories that mean so much! 🍂📸 #CommunitySupport #Generosity #FallFamilyPhotos

Building resilience in our children and families begins with understanding the impact of trauma. Through advocacy, mental health support, and enrichment, our staff works with clients to recognize and understand their specific and unique trauma experience. At the Children & Family Advocacy Center, we offer holistic, comprehensive, trauma-informed services that are essential to support those who have been impacted by trauma. These services, provided for free to our clients, can cost upwards of $3,000 per individual. In 2023, our center served nearly 1,000 individuals who had experienced trauma. Together, our community has the ability to impact each and every client helping to build resilient lives one story at a time.
