The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) invites applications and nominations as the Council searches for the next President. The Council seeks a strategic, forward-thinking, and collaborative president prepared to serve as a national and international thought leader in a changing postsecondary accreditation landscape. The President is the chief executive officer of the CHEA and responsible to the board of directors for the leadership and management of the organization as well as guiding the direction of CHEA – including CHEA’s international affiliate CIQG. Ann Die Hasselmo leads the search along with Christopher Butler and Amy Bonsiero. Learn more about this opportunity: https://ow.ly/GxtE50UbaZO #HigherEducation #HigherEdLeadership #ExecutiveSearch

Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) reposted this
Higher education institutions have historically been the space for free and liberating ideas and innovations…a space where young minds can experience divergent and diverse thoughts from peers with different experiences. Within those experiences, students expected and received a quality, academic degree. That expectation and experience should not and WILL NOT CHANGE! There is understandable angst about the proposed changes to accreditation and its implications for higher education. However, CHEA Recognized Accrediting organizations and member institutions are firmly committed to quality assurance, institutional autonomy, academic freedom, innovation and most importantly, student success! Whatever is to come, we are prepared as we have always been! The collective voices of institutions, accreditation organizations and CHEA will always be the vanguard for academic quality!
