During the CommPass CIM Session, Koenraad Deridder, General Manager of CIM, shared an insightful overview of the organization’s ongoing evolution and its bold vision for the future. At the heart of the presentation was CIM One, the holistic measurement study poised to transform the Belgian media landscape. Koenraad provided an interesting overview of the timeline of this study... 👀 🕒 2023-2024. Preparation phase 1. Design of the hybrid methodology, combining panel data with big data. 2. Collaborations with media stakeholders to align on requirements and objectives. 🕒 2025. Test and validation phase 1. Pilot projects to ensure accuracy and reliability of data integration techniques. 2. Finetuning of the virtual population modelling system to reflect Belgium’s media habits. 🕒 2026. Launch of CIM One Launching in 2026, CIM One will redefine audience measurement 1. by bridging traditional and digital platforms with innovative methodologies (One Panel initiative, virtual population modelling) 2. by shifting focus from media to consumers. 💡Koenraad emphasized that CIM’s mission is not just about data collection but about creating added value for the local media ecosystem.
