🚜🏗️ Breaking Ground on the Future of Education in Weldon, NC! Clancy & Theys Construction Company is proud to serve as the Construction Manager at-Risk for the new Weldon City Middle and High School. Yesterday marked an exciting milestone as we officially broke ground on this innovative 105,060 SF facility! This single-story school will feature dedicated wings for both middle and high school students, seamlessly connected by shared spaces like a media and dining commons, a studio theater, and a gymnasium. Designed to foster collaboration and innovation, it will accommodate approximately 460 students and staff members, creating a dynamic learning environment for the Weldon community. ✨Project Spotlight ✨ We're proud to share a progress update for Solis Birkdale in Huntersville, NC! Last week, Project Manager Garrett Lewis, Superintendent Derek Rowley and team celebrated a major milestone with a close-in party marking the near completion of MEP and framing inspections. Achieving these early allows the team to transition seamlessly into finishing trades. Solis Birkdale, part of the vibrant Birkdale community, features 210 modern living units, luxurious amenities, and easy access to retail and dining. Completion is on track for 2025. 🎉 Beam Raising Alert! 🎉 Our team has officially topped out on the new Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) office building! This state-of-the-art 73,000 SF, four-story addition will seamlessly connect to the existing two-story building, bringing a host of new amenities and spaces designed for collaboration and wellness. The ACHC project also includes 27,000 SF renovation of the existing building for the new building tie in. Highlights of the project include: ✨ A stunning three-story atrium ✨ Spacious training rooms and meeting spaces ✨ A modern café and fully-equipped gym ✨ A serene yoga room and rooftop terrace ✨ Flexible office spaces, including glass demountable cubicles ✨ Individual offices and collaborative break rooms Additionally, we’re adding a standalone two-story parking structure with 200 spaces, including several EV charging stations, ensuring convenience for all employees and visitors! It's an exciting step forward for ACHC and our team, and we look forward to seeing this innovative space come to life! We had a wild time at the Associated Builders and Contractors Awards Banquet this year! The Villages Charter School K-8 South Campus in The Villages, FL, was recently awarded an Excellence in Construction Eagle Award and we couldn't be prouder. Hats off to our project team who celebrated the night in true western style with other recognized industry partners. This new world-class facility features all the state of the art additions and high quality finishes every stellar charter school needs. Today, we celebrated an exciting milestone with a traditional beam raise and topping-off ceremony for The Colin G. and Nancy N. Campbell Archaeology Center! The project team signed the final steel beam, which was then lifted into place—marking the completion of the building’s structural framework. This one-of-a-kind 36,632-square-foot facility will share Colonial Williamsburg’s archaeology collection and support ongoing archaeological research. Featuring state-of-the-art labs, classrooms, and curated collections, The Campbell Archaeology Center will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to interact with archaeologists as they analyze and study artifacts. Visitors will be invited to participate in hands-on experiences in the public archaeology lab and explore exhibitions that bring Williamsburg’s diverse history to life.
