one.bio 🇺🇸, developer of technology which converts agricultural waste streams into edible fiber to improve the nutritional profile of food and beverage products, raised $27M in a Series A round led by Alpha Edison. Other investors included Leaps by Bayer, Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc. E12 Ventures, Morado Ventures, LLC, dsm-firmenich, ReMY, iSelect Fund, Skyviews Life Science, Collaborative Fund, Better Ventures, and Acre Venture Partners.
💡 Energy & Power:
Nanoramic, Inc. 🇺🇸, developer of ultracapacitor technologies for automotive and utility/grid-scale applications, raised $44M from GM Ventures, Catalus Capital, Samsung Ventures, Top Material, Fortistar, and WindSail Capital Group LLC.
🧪 Materials & Chemicals:
Bpacks 🇷🇸, developer of biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable packaging materials from agricultural and wood waste, raised $1M in Seed funding from undisclosed investors. The funding will help to establish operations in Spain by 2025.
🌲 Resources & Environmental Management:
Crusoe 🇺🇸, developer of carbon-negative and low carbon cloud computing platform powered by stranded energy such as flare gas and curtailed renewables, raised $600M in growth equity funding to support data center development. Investors include Founders Fund, Felicis Ventures, Long Journey, Fidelity International, Mubadala, NVIDIA, Ribbit Capital, and
Valor Equity Partners.
🚚 Transport & Logistics:
Circularise 🇳🇱, provider of supply-chain tracking solutions using blockchain, closed an undisclosed amount of Series B funding led by Teijin Limited. Funding will support expansion into high-performance materials and industrial markets.
