  • In October, Community Resilience Specialist Nizhoni Tallas participated in the 2024 Shifting Seasons Summit, where she presented our Model for Community-Led Climate Adaptation. ☀️ 🌊 📖 Our model report (link below) articulates the foundational components of the Climate Science Alliance model and explores key elements for transferability and replication that we hope will inspire others to prioritize relationships, reciprocity, and equal valuation for ways of knowing in their own work. The summit is periodically hosted by the College of Menominee Nation's Sustainable Development Institute and partners, and is a space designed to bring people together to speak and share their experiences, knowledge, and efforts in climate change adaptation by Tribal and non-Tribal entities. Thank you to the College of Menominee Nation and all of the Summit partners for inviting us to your wonderful event! 📍Menominee homelands in Keshena, Wisconsin Read the model report at this link:  ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gez3qshB
