Yesterday the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors were proud to host a ribbon cutting for CF Professional, Inc. Financial Services, celebrating their 35th anniversary and the expansion of their building at 132 North State Route 101 in Tiffin. The event featured community support, great food, and exciting giveaways during the open house. CF Professional, Inc. has a long history of providing exceptional financial services, including tax preparation, accounting, payroll, investments, and insurance services. Founded by Gary Gruss in 1989, the business quickly grew, opening multiple branches over the years, including past offices in Marion, Richwood, and Findlay, before consolidating in Tiffin in 1999. The firm, originally offering both computer and financial services, pivoted over time to focus solely on financial services due to the rapidly changing computer industry. This shift allowed CF Professional, Inc. to hone their expertise and build a strong reputation in the community, now serving over 1,500 clients across Ohio and beyond. Gary Gruss's commitment to excellence included bringing his father, Bob Gruss, a retired IRS veteran, into the business in the early 1990s. Their combined efforts, alongside their dedicated staff, laid the foundation for the trusted firm known today. The business has continued to expand its services to include comprehensive financial consulting, investment products, and tax-efficient retirement planning. CF Professional, Inc.'s recent building expansion has nearly doubled its size to 4,000 square feet, with added parking and a new covered entryway, enhancing their ability to serve clients. A special thank you goes to Clouse Construction Corp. for their excellent work on the expansion project. Earlier this year, Gary's vision for the future led to current employees Brian Gruss and Jennifer Bates becoming part owners, ensuring continued dedication to clients for years to come. Yesterday, we were honored to join the YMCA of Bucyrus-Tiffin for the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Tiffin Community YMCA pool. This event marked a major milestone as the community celebrated the unveiling of two state-of-the-art pools, enhancing wellness, training, and accessibility in Tiffin. A huge shoutout to Chamber members Clouse Construction Corp., Clouse Electric Inc, and KGS Ohio for their contributions to this transformative project. The pools, manufactured by Mythra Pools of Italy and completed with the expertise of Omni Pools & Scapes, feature a six-lane competition pool and an ADA-compliant programming pool with modern, energy-efficient filtration systems. The Tiffin Community YMCA, with roots dating back to 1923, has a rich history of promoting health, fitness, and personal growth. Over the decades, it has grown from its original property provided by Mrs. Della Shawhan Laird to a full recreational complex at 180 Summit Street, expanding its facilities and programs. The YMCA serves as a true community hub, bringing together people of all ages to live healthier, more connected lives. From providing childcare for young families and youth sports for children, to Silver Sneakers programs for seniors and a practice facility for university students, the Y welcomes everyone. The newly renovated pools are also home to local athletic teams, including the Tiffin Tidal Waves, the Tiffin Columbian High School swim team, and the Heidelberg University swim team. This facility will continue to be a center for training, competition, and community wellness, reinforcing the YMCA's role in supporting local athletes and programs. Current YMCA hours are Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 8 PM, and Saturdays from 7 AM to 3 PM, with 24-hour access to the fieldhouse and fitness center for members.
