What an incredible day at Joy to the City—a beautiful reminder of the power of community! It’s been just over a week since the event, and we can still feel the energy from that day. From smiling children to happy adults and the excitement of everyone coming together, it was everything promised and more. We loved connecting with the community, sharing about Larkin Street Youth Services reconnecting w/alumni (so heartwarming!), and working alongside other amazing organizations. Ice skating, dancing, toys, Santa, and unforgettable performances—it was pure JOY from start to finish! A huge shoutout to Donna Hilliard for inviting us & MARIA JUDICE for coordinating & the rest of the amazing team at Code Tenderloin who stayed in touch with us weeks before the event, picked up our items ahead of time—such a big help! #Thankyou to Matt Haney, #PLo & emcee extraordinaire Franco Finn for bringing even more energy and love to the day.
