📣 Student Spotlight Meet Elisa Mullisi, MBA | MSBA Student Why did you choose UNF? I chose the University of North Florida because my sister is an alumnus. I actually grew up coming to UNF. It was always a part of my household. My parents are very proud Ospreys from my sister and I as well. It is a very special place to me. Goals after graduation? How does the program you are in help you in your current career? My goals after graduation are to build my career in the right direction and continue learning new skills, acumen, and knowledge. My goals are set by my values and the drive to always strive for growth and expansion. The Master of Business Administration taught by the professors that I am grateful to learn from helped to form my passion for the financial services profession and the mosaic of my academic studies. I am proud to say that I am a part of the Osprey Financial Group and Finance & Investment Society, both of which are transformative experiences that help to challenge and improve me. Osprey Financial Group gives me the opportunity to become a part of a something much bigger than myself and manage a real portfolio for the benefit of the Client. The Finance & Investment Society allows the chance to create a great team where we can build the organization together for the good of the students in the Coggin College of Business. We host thoughtful experiential learning events to bring the business community and UNF students together. I enjoy creating relationships with professionals in their respective lines of work and learning from their career journeys. Hobbies? My hobby is school. Kidding. I love ballet, photography, traveling, and art. I also love to spend time with my family and best friends that are home and away. It always brings me joy when we catch up with each other. Advice for future graduate students? My advice for future graduate students is to be curious, appreciate your time with your professors, and challenge yourself. You should seek out the organizations that are a part of UNF as a way to build community and create relationships with others. You should conduct research, apply yourself to your academics, and challenge yourself to experience more than you could have anticipated. Appreciate the time and lessons given by your professors. They are teachers and mentors that are filled with knowledge from their lives, it is up to you to ask the right questions. Never listen to the fear or doubt of your dreams. Through hard-work, dedication, and commitment to learning, you will be able to achieve the vision that God and you have intended for your life.

📣 Coggin Graduate Program Alumni Spotlight Meet Allyson Torelli-Aukens, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager at Baker Distributing Company, MBA class of 2022. 💡 As a working professional, what advice would you give incoming students? Be confident in yourself. Through both my personal and professional experiences, I've found that confidence garners trust and respect from others. 💡 What was the biggest takeaway from your MBA? UNF provided me with the foundational skills to launch my career, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The MBA program shaped me into a capable professional, ready to tackle any challenge. It also taught me the value of asking questions, emphasizing that seeking knowledge is a strength, not a weakness. 💡 What is it like for you in your current position? What do you love about your work? My current role is dynamic and engaging. While there are recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks, I also work on ad-hoc projects and analysis that provide valuable insights for the company. I love the ever-changing nature of my job and the opportunity to manage and mentor my team. Watching my direct reports grow and advance in their careers is incredibly rewarding, and I appreciate the collaborative learning environment we have cultivated. 💡 What drives you? (What or who inspires you to do what you do each day?) I am driven by several factors, particularly my current boss and mentor, who has been a guiding force throughout my career at Baker. He helps me navigate challenges and stay focused on our mission. Additionally, my team inspires me daily. Having helped build the department from a small group to a robust team of ten, I take great pride in their growth and accomplishments. Their development and contributions motivate me to continue learning and growing, with the hope that they will become future leaders driving change and efficiency within the company. #CogginGraduatePrograms #YourCareerMastered #UNF #CogginGraduateProgramAlumni
