Each student progresses along a unique path, and our evaluations should reflect that. Delivering feedback privately ensures that students feel supported and can fully understand their strengths and areas for growth. Also, remember! Please avoid vague praise like “amazing,” “brilliant,” or “perfect.” Such terms provide no specific insight into what was done well and offer no guidance for replicating high-quality work. Let’s commit to delivering meaningful, constructive feedback that empowers our learners to thrive! 💪📚

Research shows that when students adopt mastery goals over performance goals, they not only persist through challenges but also engage in deeper information processing. Furthermore, setting short-term (proximal), specific, and moderately challenging goals enhances motivation more effectively than long-term (distal), general, and overly challenging goals. At COGx, we believe in empowering learners to focus on mastering skills while setting achievable goals. Let’s inspire our students to continue learning 💪📚
