About us
When we think about our community, we imagine one that is safe, healthy, successful and connected. That’s why Completely KIDS has made it our mission to empower kids and families with the skills necessary to break the cycle of poverty and overcome barriers to their success. Each year, we serve more than 2,000 Omaha-area kids, primarily between the ages of 4 and 14, and their families in working toward this mission. Our work takes place before and after the school day with our kids. We provide a safe, academically supportive and enriching environment at nine OPS elementary and middle schools, a parochial school, three homeless shelters, a community organization, and our building. We also offer expanded services to the families of our kids in the form of literacy, educational support, mental health services and referrals to other agencies as needed. The Completely KIDS Back to School Drive has officially ended, and we are thrilled to announce that we surpassed our goal with over 1,000 backpacks donated! Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, each of these backpacks will go to a KID in need, ensuring they have the supplies necessary for a successful school year. A huge thank-you to SMILE STATION PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY, LLC, Kiewit, Spreetail, Kiwanis, Chuck & Char Peterson, Gene & Tish Selk, Mutual of Omaha, Holmes Murphy, Danielle Johnson, Children's Nebraska, Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Collective for Youth, Gallup, TEKsystems, LRS Healthcare, Old Vine Wine & Spirits and J & R Mechanical!
