UN Woman:Young Women Leaders Program in Palestine. The program aims to develop a Young Women Leader in Peacebuilding and Decision-Making network. Selected participants will engage in 60 hours of a capacity building programme covering the UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security and UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security; as well as subsequent resolutions, conflict theories and analysis, including how to conduct gender-sensitive conflict analysis, conflict resolution methods, peace processes, formal and informal tracks, mediation processes, skills, values, and phases and local disputes settlement. Eligibility To be eligible for consideration, Palestinian woman should: - Be residing in Palestine. - Be aged between 22 to 35. - Have previous experience or demonstrated interested in areas related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, public policies, files of refugees, settlements, Jerusalem, water, security and peacebuilding. - Be a member of youth-led or youth-servicing organizations or remarkable informal youth initiatives with access to youth networks. - Have access to, and be reasonably proficient in, communication technologies.
