Our students shine at the Job Lab Hackathon! 🏆 First and Second Place! More than 70 students competed in the annual Job Lab Hackathon organized by Telemach Slovenia. We're thrilled to announce that our very own students took home both the top and second-place prizes! The winning team impressed the judges with their concept for an AI-powered learning application TeleLearn. STARS presents one of his partners in GERMANY : ✨ Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf ✨ Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf sees itself as an "interpreter" and "moderator" between the state and municipalities. We bundle the requirements from the various line ministries of the state government and ensure legally and technically correct implementation at the municipal level. Our office for EU Projects advises and supports vocational colleges in the administrative district in the planning, implementation and evaluation of European educational projects. Concerning STARS, we provide educational expertise and resources. We mobilize a network of more than 70 VET schools. ⭐️Erasmus+ Funding Session in Lisbon   Join us on 27th February 2025 in Lisbon (and online) for an Erasmus+ information session focused on funding opportunities for centralised actions managed by EACEA and the European Commission.   Joao Santos, former Senior Expert in VET at DG EMPL, will address centralised actions, while representatives from European Training Foundation and CoP CoVEs will discuss funding opportunities for Centres of Vocational Excellence.   This event will provide insights into the latest initiatives that support innovation and growth in vocational education and training. Our colleague, Clara Agostini, will also speak, offering key insights on how stakeholders can engage with these funding opportunities. 💡📓MOSAIC is studying new #research models that involve collaboration between companies, VET institutions, research organisations, and local entities working in Arts and Crafts. ✍️In Canada, the project partners encountered an exemplary experience shared by INOVEM - Centre d'innovation (bois et matériaux connexes) / Cégep de Victoriaville / #ENME, which is currently being explored in the project, but there is also another approach to research that can contribute for the quality of the work conducted in MOSAIC at this level - the practices of Ecosistema Artigianelli (Trento), an associated member of Scuola Centrale Formazione (SCF) that is engaged in #appliedresearch. #tools The AIRinVET self-assessment tool 🌟AIRinVET simulates VET centres to offer applied and innovation research for SMEs. For this purpose, we have developed different tools for VET Centres to develop into a professional provider of this. 💡Based on our AIRinVET #Framework, we developed the AIRinVET #Roadmap to become an innovation providing VET Centre, published as a report. To guide in going the road forward, we developed a Self-Assessment Tool for VET Centres. The development was led by Barbara van Ginneken from our Dutch partner Wij zijn Katapult. With this tool, a VET Centre can assess their actual knowledge, experience and sources about Applied Research and Innovation and get recommendations to go the road to be an innovation services offering VET Centre in their region. #tools The AIRinVET Decision tree for SMEs! 🌟AIRinVET simulates VET centres to offer applied and innovation research for SMEs. For this purpose, we have developed different tools for VET Centres to develop into a professional provider of this. However, in our project we not only focused on the VET Centres, but also on the SMEs in their region. How do we get them involved in applied and innovation research? And, in what way can they participate? 📚To answer this last question, the AIRinVET Team, led by partner Wij zijn Katapult, has developed the AIRinVET Decision tree. This helps entrepreneurs to decide with what commitment they will participate in the innovation projects of the VET Centres they have a relationship with (e.g. because students are doing internships at their premises). 🔊 After one week of intense work hosted by the Solski Centre in Nova Gorica (Slovenia), the first Winter Camp on Vocational Excellence promoted by European Training Foundation in collaboration with EfVET, European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) and European Vocational Training Association - EVTA came to an end. --- 🌐 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/dxrJmbtb ---   🌟 It has been an incredible pioneer experience of capacity building for more than 40 VET experts and practitioners, coming from 22 countries, under the guidance of three experienced CoVEs:  GREENOVET - PoVE Water - Talentjourney Platform for IoT Vocational Excellence.     📣 These colleagues organized inspiring peer #learning and #engaging #workshops on the 3 main areas of vocational excellence:  📌 Teaching and Learning, with a specific focus also on #Inclusion and #Wellbeing. 📌 #Partnership and #Cooperation, discovering new tools for CoVEs business plans. 📌 #Governance and #Funding, pointing out the crucial dimension of sustainability for the future of each CoVE. --- ⬇️ Main take-aways:  💡 #Mindset revolution: developing a CoVE means engaging in a #changemaking #initiative at ecosystemic level, not just a temporary project partnership. Vision, Value proposition, Business Plan and Stakeholder engagement are key elements to be addressed.  🔎 The #CoVE initiative, also thanks to the great support by ETF and its team, as well as the CoP CoVEs, is already reshaping the European VET ecosystem enlarging cooperation, canalizing knowledge and expertise, inspiring policies and #research. A renovated and strong commitment on the CoVE program is then expected by the European Commission, and namely the EVP, Roxana Minzatu, in line with her commitment to a Union Of Skills and a new Agenda for VET. CoVE will be pivotal.  🖇️ The #interinstitutional collaboration between ETF, CoVEs, EfVET, EVBB and EVTA determines a real empowerment via sharing competences, tools and ideas. This collaborative approach sets the pace for a successful pathway towards the growth of VET and contributes to the achievements of the social and economic goals, as suggested by the Draghi Agenda. 🔑 EfVET keeps investing in the CoVE program: this is the way for Excellence in VET.
