Congrats to the Studio G Architects, INC Team for winning the SVBJ 2024 Structures Award for Best Large Interiors project for their design of the market ready space at 4401 Great America Parkway in Santa Clara. We were proud to partner on this beautiful project and work with such a talented team of partners. The gorgeous 6 floor space includes a welcoming common lobby, open office areas and a café/all hands space next to an outdoor amenity area. The space incorporates hospitality elements and a rich color palette, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere! PM services by Compass Solutions, Inc. On this Earth Day, we want to celebrate our partnership with MillerKnoll, one of the founding members of the US Green Building Council. D.J. De Pree, Founder of Herman Miller, said in 1953, “We will be good stewards of the Earth,” and that is built into their culture as a company to this day. Looking towards 2030, they have set aggressive sustainability goals across their collective of global brands to reduce their carbon footprint by 50%, eliminate the use of single-use plastics, and use 50% or more recycled content globally. Their latest product innovation towards this goal is the integration of ocean-bound plastic into Herman Miller’s Aeron Chair. This work is equivalent to preventing close to 400,000 milk jugs or up to 23 million plastic bottles from entering the ocean annually. What are your favorite products with a great sustainability story? #earthday #sustainability #furniture #furnituredesign #commercialinterior
