The Eyedentifier combines industrial image processing and artificial intelligence to identify products completely automatically. During the last months, it has learned to identify different products in crates and direct them to the automated warehouse. In our new format “Meet the team”, we will provide insights into the personalities and stories behind our company. We will begin with an introduction to Sarah Vanessa Kröner. She is the co-CEO of CSB-System SE, leading the business together with her father, Dr. Peter Schimitzek – who had the brilliant idea in 2008 to bring Vanessa on board as the head of Marketing at CSB. This would be her starting point to gradually grow into her role as a member of the board. No sooner said than done. From Sankt Gallen University to UBS and to CSB: Vanessa succeeded on her journey with fresh ideas and great determination. She started out by establishing group-wide financial management processes at CSB and developing the international marketing. Her next steps were to launch the strategic reorientation of the business, organize the international sales, and drive the reorganization of the development and consulting divisions. She has been a member of the board for more than ten years now, and she is a true "mompreneur". Together with her husband, her son, and her daughter, she lives in Switzerland. In her free time, she loves doing sports, including tennis, golf, skiing, and hiking. In keeping with CSB’s international ambitions, she is an enthusiastic traveler and likes to experience different cultures. She is also very much interested in medical topics and passionate about good food. Her motivation? Keep on developing herself and CSB, and doing things the right way – for the customers and for the employees. For Vanessa, joining the company was not merely a move in her career, but a life choice – and one she has set her heart on.
