New in our portfolio: The Town & Country Markets Mill Creek location was renovated with a focus on the store’s food service areas and the goal of creating elevated food offerings and a restaurant dining experience within a grocery setting. To achieve this goal, one of the key moves was to open up and connect the indoor and outdoor seating areas with sliding panels and glazing, bringing in air and light, and creating a welcoming ambience. Materials and colors were thoughtfully selected to create a dynamic and casual vibe for the new restaurant space. Updates to the millwork, décor, and finishes highlight a color palette that ties together the entire store and reflects the Town & Country Markets brand colors. THANK YOU! and Shout Outs to everyone who joined us as we celebrated 20 years since we launched the Cushing Terrell Austin Office. It simultaneously feels like it was a blink of the eye and a long journey, but either way, it has been a wonderfully fun, adventurous journey. I’m especially grateful that we were joined by so many of our former team members along with so many amazing clients and colleagues in such a great celebration. It was so cool to raise another toast with clients that had been with us during our first open house celebration back in 2004. We have grown so much over those years! We have built a strong foundation for our practice and with the phenomenal team that we have, we couldn’t be more excited about what the future will bring.

Each year, our Billings team coordinates a golf classic to raise funds for local nonprofits. The event gathers together individuals and business throughout the community to pitch in for a great cause. This year, the beneficiary was the Billings Family YMCA, with donated funds going to their new Teen Center project. “The YMCA played a significant role in my life growing up here in Billings; it’s where I learned to swim and went to play racquetball and basketball with friends. Today, as an active YMCA board member, I know so much more about the important role the organization plays in our community, and I’m thrilled we’re able to contribute to their mission,” Cushing Terrell Principal Brad Sperry said. Today is about recognizing the service and sacrifice of our country’s veterans, service members, and their families. One of our electrical engineering leads, Nathan Bronec, PE, was recently on site at the Montana Heritage Center, currently under construction. He's been instrumental in designing the building's electrical systems along with two roof-top PV arrays that will be the first ones on the Montana State Capitol campus in Helena. The arrays were designed to be larger than the typical net meter systems as the building consumes more than 50kW (the utility net meter limit) and will offset more than 15% of the building's energy usage annually. While there, Nathan captured some photos of how the facility is shaping up under the expert hands of Sletten Construction Company.
