We recently hosted a #volunteer day with D Magazine for their staff to film videos about their careers for our Video Library. They welcomed CareerSpring's Gretchen Richter and Sophia Stoller to create Career Videos, where our team recorded with professionals across their company, from editors to graphic designers–exposing Advisees to a variety of new career paths in the creative industry. After this experience, Will Smith of D Magazine shared, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with CareerSpring…With many first-generation students in Dallas, we are excited to provide job and internship opportunities and further our mission of making Dallas an even better place—a goal CareerSpring helps us achieve.” We are so grateful for their collaboration in this initiative and to all who volunteered their time to provide new resources for CareerSpring Advisees! On August 29, we hosted the Celebrating Women of Influence event, where we brought together fearless and innovative female leaders for an insightful conversation, skillfully moderated by Gillea Allison, President at D Magazine Partners. The topic of discussion was ‘How Women’s Voices Change the Conversation.’  Our esteemed panelists included Abigail Erickson-Torres, president and CEO of Frontiers of Flight Museum; Rashel Rogers, organizational development director of Park Place Dealerships; Aleta Stampley, managing director of philanthropy of Tolleson Wealth Management; and Yasmeen Tadia, PHR, founder and CEO of MAKE YOUR LIFE SWEETER. Their collective wisdom and expertise provided valuable insights into the discussion.
