Ten years ago, we met Kedar, Vignesh, and Kishore building a fledgling startup called HyperVerge out of IIT Madras's incubator. Three young, brilliant, fresh grads, tackling a difficult and important problem around deep learning and neural networks. We subsequently invested in their seed round, our first investment in India. We're sharing some pictures below of the journey with HyperVerge. From a small Bangalore office and having lunch on the floor with the entire team, to see where they are today, a team 200+ strong, is an amazing sight to see. Ten years and nearly 1B identities verified later, HyperVerge is India's leading KYC identity verification platform. In addition to being a world-class company, HyperVerge makes it a priority to give back by upskilling through HyperVerge Academy. It has been a privilege to be a part of HyperVerge's journey as a board member. We have learned a lot from Kedar, Vignesh, Kishore, and the rest of the team.
