Big news at DataJoint! I’m pleased to share that we’ve brought on a new CEO, Jim Olson, who brings deep experience in life sciences software and successfully building multiple startups. For instance, in his previous role, he was instrumental in raising over $100 million across multiple rounds to grow and build a leading imaging and AI company.  His leadership will be a great addition to the team as we work to take DataJoint to the next level. Together, we are building DataJoint into a transformative tool for data-intensive research, where data complexity and AI potential converge. Our work with leading research teams focuses on building a rigorous data foundation, because without data integrity, AI cannot deliver on its promise. This is a team effort—our engineers, scientists, and collaborators are creating tools and infrastructure that make rigorous, high-impact science possible. From neuroscience to systems biology, omics, behavior, and oncology, we’re transforming how science operates for the next generation of discoveries. As Chief Science and Technology Officer, I will focus on enabling dynamic teams to manage complex data and workflows. For me, it's about making science not only faster but more rigorous and reliable, delivering credible findings amid growing complexity. With Jim steering growth and strategy and the entire DataJoint team driving innovation and execution, we're redefining how science is conducted.
