After 41 years of working with Datrex, Inc. at our Miami location, Gaye Boza will retire on January 8th 2025. Her dedication, hard work, and exceptional customer service have been immeasurable to the growth and success of Datrex. Gaye was hired by Datrex in 1984 as a Servicing Coordinator. She advanced to office manager and is retiring as the Miami Branch Manager. She has been integral to two warehouse/location expansions, thousands of liferaft and equipment service jobs, and exponential growth within the company. When asked about her career highlights and what she would miss most, she always mentioned the people. She said, “Working with the same customers who return year after year because they know they can count on us to do a great job for them was rewarding.” She also expressed that she would miss working with her colleagues, with whom she has worked with for so many years, and the relationships she has built with her customers. However, she will not miss the traffic in Miami! Datrex, Inc. CEO Patrick Brunosson stated, “I have worked with Gaye for 24 years, and it has been a true pleasure to work with her. She is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and a very hard worker. Datrex and all its employees have benefited from Gaye’s dedication. We wish Gaye a wonderful, relaxing retirement and hope she enjoys not having to make any more early morning drives to the office.” Gaye and her husband plan to travel and move closer to family. We wish her all the joys in her well-deserved retirement and will certainly miss her.

📣 ⚓ 🎉 Team Member Recognition 📣 ⚓ 🎉 This November, BRIGETTE GOLL, our Sales Director Cruise/Caribbean and Latin America celebrated a milestone of 20 years working with Datrex, Inc. Her dedication and commitment to the maritime industry has been a foothold of Datrex’s success. Brigette started with Datrex as a temp worker helping to file service work and equipment certificates, and now is the Miami office manager and sits on the Datrex Board of Trustees. She thought she’d work in the maritime industry for a few years and then move on to the hospitality or travel industries, but somewhere along the way, she realized the maritime industry is all those industries and she never looked back! Anyone who's worked with Brigette knows she is a workhorse, there is no task too big or small for her to tackle, and that motivation is driven by an all-consuming desire to administer the best customer service for her clients. We asked her what advice she’d give someone looking to grow their career and she said, “Take Chances, and Keep Striving!” Everyone at Datrex could not be happier that Brigette has followed her own advice because every day her work helps make Datrex more successful. Words cannot express how grateful we are for everything she’s done for us so far. Congrats to Brigette and Datrex for her 20 years of service!
