    Today I’m thrilled to announce one of the BIGGEST product launches in Demandbase history. Introducing, Agentbase. Agentbase is a complete system of connected AI Agents that combine data and automation into unified account-based GTM workflows.     Brand partnership VP of Marketing @ B2B Rizz | ABM + LinkedIn ads | B2B Doesn’t Have to Be Boring

    There is a big issue with companies going towards ABM as their go-to-market strategy right now And it’s that they go into it with the same demand generation (or worse, lead gen) mindset. They create an account list, 300 to 1,000 of the best-fit companies, they put together a proper plan, they do all the right things, and they start executing. All to shut it down in 3 months because they thought they’d see a certain number of demos, leads, and pipeline based on their demand gen historicals. Which is unrealistic because you’re now marketing and selling to a much smaller account and audience pool. Yes, you’re going to be more targeted, likely more personalized in your approach, but you’re still dependent on timing. And you can’t force people to buy. Trust me, I’ve tried. You can’t. You can, in theory, speed up timing by making them problem-aware. But oftentimes, it comes down to their current contract with a vendor ending, or they just opened up budget. OR Their boss Slacked or Teamsed them, saying, “We need this kind of platform. Can you find me the best one?” With demand gen, you’re also reliant on timing. But you have a much bigger pool of companies you’re marketing to, so more companies are likely to be in-market. ABM is a smaller pool, typically higher ACV, more valuable, but a smaller pool nonetheless. ABM is really a more targeted, longer-term approach to marketing that, if done right, will bring in higher ACV clients. If we shift our mindset that way, we’ll look at ABM as getting our message, our brand, and our content in front of them every month so that when the time does come and they need your solution, they’ll think of you. Now, unless you’re one of the mythical infinity budget orgs, it’s going to be hard to get in front of all those companies without prioritization. Which is where certain company triggers, signals, and signifiers can help you prioritize accounts and your resources in the short term. And use the rest of your resources on the long-term ABM strategy. When you pair the two, that’s when you turn your ABM into a consistent revenue flywheel. They are very helpful for scaling your ABM strategy and aligning your efforts with marketing and sales. I’ve used most of them, and Demandbase definitely sticks out.
