When the world needed help, our teammates answered the call. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the #MaryvilleTN team quickly designed and produced approximately 80,000 face shields to help protect medical workers on the frontlines. What began as a simple sketch turned into prototypes and then deliveries to hospitals, nursing homes and first responders across 13 states and as far as #Japan. At the same time, the #GuelphON team rallied to supply InkSmith with 3D-printed face shield parts, supporting their efforts to ensure healthcare workers in #Canada had the #PPE they needed. Look back with us at this year's #ThermalManagement Systems Symposium, organized by SAE International. Dwayne Taylor, an R&D #engineer from our #SouthfieldMI team, highlighted how industry and regulators can work together to help promote high-efficiency #thermal systems in #ElectricVehicles. 🚗 And Jim Link, also an R&D leader, presented with trusted business partner Angelo Patti how #green refrigerants can not only improve #HeatPump efficiency, but also the overall performance of #EVs. ⚡️ With collaborations like these, we'll continue to ensure thermal products help drive mobility's #electrification journey. 🛣️ #WeAreDENSO
