DSI is honored to recognize Amanda Schaefer for her 20 years at the company! Amanda started her journey with #DesignSystems as a member of the #simulation team. As time progressed, an opportunity presented itself to support a #productlaunch as a member of DSI’s #materialflow engineering team. After completing several successful product launches, we realized her #engineeringknowledge and product launch experience would be #invaluable in a leadership role and elevated Amanda into a project manger’s role. As throughout her career, Amanda excelled in this role leading DSI’s material flow efforts on a number of high-profile product launches. In 2023, Amanda was promoted to #EngineeringLead of the I.E./ Material Flow team in our #AutomotiveEngineering Group and was a natural at leading her team. Since her promotion, Amanda has continued her tireless efforts to grow her team and provide the #mentorship and #leadership to her team and the rest of the company.  Amanda’s hard work and dedication to providing valuable, quality #engineeringservice to every customer is a key reason that #DesignSystemsInc is so successful. Amanda is just one example of the quality, dedicated engineers, managers, people who ARE Design Systems! 🥳 Celebrating 10 Incredible Years with James P.! 🎉 A decade ago, Jim joined #DSI and began building the foundation of our #SupplyChain Group, which evolved into our #ProcessOptimization Team and ultimately becoming the core of our #LeanManufacturing team. His leadership in developing these teams and individuals paved the way for a more #diverseportfolio and helped us extend our reach to new clients in industries never imagined before. Throughout his growth with the company, Jim has gone on to become our Director of Strategic Development, leading #specialprojects, spearheading #marketpenetration efforts, and continuing to foster relationships with clients that have become the backbone of our success. Jim has not only helped shape the trajectory of DSI, but has also been an outstanding #mentor to so many of us. His leadership style is all about empowerment, encouraging individuals to focus on their strengths while keeping our eyes on the #biggerpicture. We would like to proudly recognize Jason Gremillion for his 15 years at #DesignSystemsInc.! While Jason officially has #15years with DSI, prior to 2010, Jason worked with DSI/SRI off and on since 2004. Jason started as a Staff Engineer and one of his first assignments was working with the Central Layout Group at GM. Jason did such a great job that GM kept renewing the contract for several years. When an opportunity opened up to work with our #GMPowertrain team, Jason was the perfect fit. He was working closely with Barry Adkins, who was the group manager, and gained valuable experience and insight that lead to Jason being promoted to be the Engineering Lead for that group. Jason’s career is a shining example of how hard work pays off. We’d like to recognize Jason’s 15 year milestone and his overall dedication to making DSI the gold standard in #manufacturingengineering and #consulting. The Design Systems family of companies would like to recognize and congratulate Gabriel Valdes, our Managing Partner of Design Systems de Mexico on fifteen years of service. During the start-up and growth of DSM, Gabriel was instrumental in building the engineering team and guiding the company through adherence to governmental regulations. Gabriel not only manages our day-to-day operations but also oversees sales and account management for our major automotive clients in the region.
