🔍 Project Spotlight: #Gaza Education Facility #Mapping Mindset, in partnership with Dexis Consulting Group and the @Ministry of Education in Palestine, assessed the destruction of #school #infrastructure in Gaza and addressed the humanitarian challenges faced by displaced families sheltering in these facilities and the possibility of accommodating educational needs post-conflict. Why It Matters: 🏫 Schools in Gaza have transitioned from places of learning to vital shelters, with over 60% currently housing displaced families. 📊 Our work fills critical information gaps, providing data to inform post-conflict recovery and stabilization efforts. 🚀What We’re Doing: 🏫 Visiting schools in Gaza to assess structural integrity and living conditions. 📑 Documenting sanitation, water supply, and health hazards. 💬 Conducting interviews and focus group discussions #FDGs with displaced individuals to capture stories of resilience, coping strategies, and community needs. 💻 Developing a #PowerBI dashboard and comprehensive report to ensure accessible and actionable findings for stakeholders.
