We are delighted to have been part of #Interzoo2024 that was the whole of the last week. Lots of decision makers from manufacturers, suppliers and distributors stopped by our booth; their support was indeed humbling for us. We look forward to reconnecting with them pretty soon.
This post is however is not just about #Interzoo or #doctor-woofsley. It is about you as well, if you, like us, are a young innovative startup in the pet industry. Here are our two cents, or maybe six, regarding why participation was a great value prop.
1. Addressing in the world trade fair (Interzoo is the biggest) brings visibility w.r.t. your market which no other channels could.
2. Top decision makers are present and actively engage with the booths (e.g., CEO of Fresspnaf also visited us.)
3. You realise the real extent of your market better than market research studies could tell you. (Dominance of pet food was amply clear)
4. You meet other solutions that fit nicely with your product, especially those which are usually not i prime time ads.
5. The cost of exhibition may propel you to find fundings which per se has additional benefits (BAFA subsidized our exhibition cost which is further testament to our innovation in the eyes of German govt.)
6. Even though you are not in the market yet (we are rolling out second test cohort in Germany now; our date to market is more than a quarter later), the participation allows you to find the most crucial missing items (e.g., for us it is our influencer-based GTM).
Thanks once again to all our supporters, esp. CyberLab and AI+Munich. And to our growing family (founders' family, testers, early adopters).
