Domtar was honored to give MP Gord Johns a tour of our Port Alberni Mill last Friday. “I was pleased to visit the Domtar Port Alberni mill, Canada's only West Coast paper mill, to meet with employees and learn about the company’s efforts to grow its specialty paper business. Domtar Port Alberni is a prime example of how the forest products industry can drive change towards a more sustainable economy,” said MP Johns. “Investing in biomass energy production, like Port Alberni has, not only helps us meet Canada's climate goals, but also strengthens local economies and creates good, sustainable jobs.” Ce fut un honneur pour Domtar de faire visiter l’usine Port Alberni, en Colombie-Britannique, au député Gord Johns, vendredi dernier. « J’ai été ravi de voir l’usine Port Alberni de Domtar, de rencontrer le personnel et de prendre connaissance des efforts de l’entreprise visant l’expansion des papiers de spécialité.
