Mitchell, a champion of cooperative farming & youth agricultural education! 🔹 Innovation: Mitchell organized African American farmers under the Eastern Columbus Credit Union, allowing them to buy supplies in bulk and cut costs—a game-changer for Black farming communities. He also expanded Black 4-H Clubs, giving young Black farmers the skills and training to thrive in agriculture. 🔹 Impact: His work provided financial stability, collective bargaining power, and educational opportunities for Black farmers and youth. By empowering future generations, Mitchell helped secure a sustainable and prosperous future for Black farmers across the country.
