The importance of creating surprise and unique decor in your Airbnb. For this dramatic master bedroom I created a mix of interesting patterns and intentional accent details. My idea was to create this rich retreat, making the experience of the future guests truly memorable. With dark flooring and wallpaper on the ceiling - I needed to balance it out the colors in the middle - bringing life with emerald green and extra accents in black. Even as an extravagant style, with the right proportions we have harmonious space.

In the middle of the gray weather of Amsterdam, this family was looking to bring color and joy into their home and lives. Inspired by a beloved artwork that they love, I developed a project with bold color combinations and interesting accents to create personality. This project is a delicate mix of the Scandinavian style - with straight lines, modern shapes, and black accents with a Mid-century Modern style - with iconic design, approachable layout, and texture. Each room was designed based on the activities and lifestyle of the clients - providing the perfect scenarios to build memories in their new home. As a professional designer - my job is not only to make something beautiful and pleasant but also to guide and make the entire process smoother. A good design is the doable one!
