Growing the best brands & businesses on LinkedIn™

Waiting for January 1st to start posting is a myth. Here are my 30 suggestions to make December count: (coming from someone who's done all of these)  1. Record and test 1 video post (maybe your first one)  2. DM 10 Profile Viewers every single day  3. Write 1 personal story post every single week  4. Write a text-only post (this still gets me good reach)  5. Add 5 new 2nd and 3rd degree connections daily  6. Comment on 5 "new" people's posts daily  7. Update your headline and test something new  8. Add a surprise for visitors to your Featured section  9. Post 3 pinned comments under every single post 10. Break a norm 11. Leave 3 "replies" on every post you comment on 12. Stay for min. 30 mins on posts after publishing 13. Unfollow 2 people every day from your feed 14. Send 3 appreciation DMs every single day 15. Offer solutions in your posts → not just symptoms 16. Apply the "1 post, 1 topic, 1 big takeaway" rule 17. Make every tip you share applicable "today" 18. End every post with a clear question or P.S. 19. Never speak about your earnings in public 20. Write each post for a "45-60s reading time" 21. Write 5 posts, post 1 22. Publish a post on a super-personal topic 23. Write 1 post about your biggest failure so far 24. Write 1 post about your biggest win so far 25. Choose 1 "style" for your comments every 24 hrs 26. Comment in spurts of 15 minutes (2-3x a day) 27. Take weekends off 28. Skip a day (if you don't feel like posting) 29. Don't write a single negative comment for 30 days 30. Share freely + support everyone. Period. Add "1 each day" to your daily routine before 2025. I'll see you at the top next year! ❤️ (Repost this ♻️) P.S. Which one stuck out the most to you? And be honest... did you read all 30 lines? :)

I help you write on LinkedIn™ and grow your business with it

“Is my LinkedIn post applicable in 10 seconds?” This question changed my LinkedIn content forever. Why? I aim to have 1 problem and 1 solution in every post. You can decorate the problem as long as you want, but the truth is: people just want to read the solution. And if you don't provide that solution - you lose trust. So, do this in your next post: 1. Name the problem 2. Point out the solution 3. Think: "How exactly?" 4. Describe this in detail     See, I could say: "Don't do this", and provide that as "a solution". But that's not how you write a powerful post. "Do this instead" is a solution. That's an applicable post. "What can I do in 10 seconds after reading this post?" This mindset shift is a game changer. Next time you write your post, think of this. (And thank me later. ❤️) P.S. Have you heard of this question already?

Growing the best brands & businesses on LinkedIn™

Everyone told me I was "too late" to do this. Touché. 1. "You shouldn't launch a community at the end of the year → it's the 'proven' worst time for launches"     2. "You priced it 2x or 3x higher than the competition → they'll just flock over to them, not you" 3. "Not worth your time → you already have a huge coaching business, what's it to you money-wise?" Guess what? All 3 of these are correct "in theory" but... In reality: 1. Converted 25% of my waitlist 2. Already filling our February waitlist 3. $0.5M annual revenue added in just 7 days (on top of my already-booked-out LinkedIn business) When you build trust for the long term... There's no such thing as "too late". Monday Motivation, over! P.S. This is your sign to pursue your dream regardless of what everyone else in your LinkedIn feed tells you (including me). Or what they do to stop you. I actually had quite a few people last week (folks whom I used to consider friends) speak against me - during my launch week. Coincidence, huh? Sad realities of being an entrepreneur, I guess... Pick your circle closely, friends. And most of all, ignore the "noise". Coach Jasmin sends his love. To all. ❤️

I help you write on LinkedIn™ and grow your business with it

I hit 30,000 LinkedIn followers! Here's how: (If you're starting or feeling stuck, save this post) I've grown my brand to 30,000 followers in less than 18 months of consistent posting. And I've also built a community that continuously supports me. My top 3 pieces of advice for building a powerful brand: 1. Aim for a long ride     Building your personal brand is a lifelong journey. Not something you do for a month or two. Choose a sustainable strategy. Post 5-7x weekly for 2 months ❌ Post 3-4x weekly for 10 months ✅ 2. Post what you're passionate about Always include your true love in building your brand. People will 100% notice and remember it. Let people deeply connect with you. "I build strategies for 7-figure businesses" ❌ "I love watermelons / pizza / burgers / pancakes" ✅ 3. Engage with people wholeheartedly     Make sure they "know" you and remember you. Write personalized connection requests. Do the same in your comments. "Let's explore a potential collaboration!" ❌ "I like how you talked about respecting people!" ✅ Remember: The best aren't better than others. They outlast others. People don't remember data. They remember emotions. So make sure they remember YOU. I hope this helps! ❤️ P.S. Which one of these 3 is your favorite?

I help you write on LinkedIn™ and grow your business with it

"You'd get way more likes if you posted more photos!" Since I joined LinkedIn, I've heard this almost daily. "You have to post more photos!" "At least post Twitter screenshots!" "Video is going viral; you have to try it!" And I could. I won't lie. I could do it. But at the end of the day, I want to write. I want to be remembered only as a writer. So, I created a strategy that works for me. See... For me, it's not about how many people will see me. It's about how many people will remember me. And more importantly, how they remember me. My brand would grow faster if I changed my strategy... But I'm more at peace knowing that people follow me because they like my writing. (I mean, that's for sure) I'm here to provide value. I'm here to share my knowledge. I'm here to teach you to write better. I'm here to write for you if you need me to. I'm here to grow my business and feed my family. This is all that matters to me. And within 18 months of posting, I somehow got 30,000 souls to follow my work... The little girl in me who just wanted to write feels super proud today. I am super grateful, too. Thank you! ❤️ Many here grow their brands for the short term. I say focus on what's important to you for a lifetime. P.S. What's your go-to content type?

Growing the best brands & businesses on LinkedIn™

My LinkedIn commenting strategy is No. 1 in the world. I was even on a call with LinkedIn reps about it. Short story: In early 2022, the platform noticed how I "crept into" everyone's posts and grew my following, as well as my presence in the main feed. Fun times! But... Commenting still gets "mixed reactions". What most people think: 1. I don't know what/who to comment on 2. I don't have time to comment all day here 3. Commenting is a $0/hr activity - actual quote What you should be thinking is: 1. I need to write each comment "with intent" 2. It's much easier to write 1 comment vs. 1 post 3. This actually gives me more visibility vs. posting Bonus: Hiring managers and ICPs can "notice" you. The goal is always to get more profile views = more opportunities that "posting only" can't give you. Comment with intent → Time well spent (Repost my video for your network if you like it ♻️) P.S. Do you track how many comments you leave? I left 600+ in the last 2 days without realizing... Whoops.

I help you write on LinkedIn™ and grow your business with it

The best moment in my career? Meeting Jasmin Alić. And convincing him to mentor me. 18 months ago, I almost gave up on online writing. Before that, I'd been writing online for 8 years. But I had no "consistent" leads. I was still stuck in my 9-5. It brought food to the table. That's all that mattered. "You'd be a great LinkedIn ghostwriter." He said after our very first coaching session. So, I started posting. And he optimized my profile. He taught me how to write specifically for LinkedIn. And 3 months later, I quit my toxic job. Now: 1. I'm named a LinkedIn rising star. 2. I am working with amazing clients. 3. My profile has been growing rapidly. 4. I've hosted courses and live workshops. 5. I've worked with the world's biggest names. 6. I've been booked for 15 months in a row now. 7. I've never been more peaceful and free in my life. 8. I'm about to hit 30,000 followers (started from 0)! All thanks to this incredible Bosnian guy. Jasmin launched his community today. And I'm not convincing anyone into anything, but... The value you get in that community is insane. The best part? I told him I wanted to "make it" with text-only. He said: "Okay, you'll be slower but it's possible." That's the moment I appreciate the most, because... With him, I was able to hit even 100k followers by now. But my goal was different. He understood. He delivered. That's what only an exceptional coach can do. He doesn't serve everyone 'the same plan'. He serves you what you want and need. So, you win on your terms. With him, it's possible. Join his community here: https://lnkd.in/d46XDT4m And coach, good luck with changing more lives. I'll never be able to thank you enough for changing mine! P.S. Have you heard about his community already?

Why are Asian and African LinkedIn users disliked? "90% of my comments are Indians" "None of these people will ever buy from me" "Why am I attracting Nigerians if I'm in the US???" (deleted question from my Q&A session this week) Disclaimer: This is not the first time I was asked about the "growing number of users from [those regions]". Ok, so they may never "buy" from you. Cool. But... 90% of your followers / connections won't either! This kind of thinking needs to stop. Now, I don't know about you, but I've had... 1. Repeat 1:1 coaching clients from India. 2. Some of my favorites have been Pakistanis. 3. Creators like Samridhi, Prakhar, Ubaid, Pooja... They're among my favorite LinkedIn creators, period. When will business owners understand that... When you "go global", that means "Asia & Africa too!" And this is supposed to be a networking platform, after all? A "global" networking platform. Location doesn't determine anyone's value. Please stop discriminating. ❤️ Thank you. (Repost this ♻️) P.S. I'm writing this post because I KNOW people have said the same about Bosnians in the past too! Until I changed that perception. So I know posts like these matter in the long run. Thanks for reading.

    • Jasmin Jay Alic shares a heartfelt LinkedIn post about embracing his global audience on LinkedIn. In the photo, he is sitting in his studio office with colorful lights surrounding him and is staring directly into the camera. The photo also includes a quote that says: Stop discriminating. Thank you.

I help you write on LinkedIn™ and grow your business with it

I'm a single mum and solo business owner. And last week, I was finally convinced that starting my own business was the best possible career move. My daughter got ill. In the past, working for "someone" meant I needed to take a sick leave whenever my daughter had a high fever. And each day 'off' would affect my salary. The stress this was causing me was driving me crazy. But as a solopreneur, I have my freedom and flexibility. This week, my daughter has a high fever again. She can't go to her daycare, but I don't stress. I just reorganized my day around her... Is it ideal? Do I work while she's sleeping on my legs? Yes. Do I feel bad or does it bother me? Not at all. I'm productive, and my daughter knows I'm there for her. I'm beyond grateful. ❤️ Women still struggle at work when they have kids. Rarely ever they'll find a supportive environment. And if they don't have a partner to back them up... The toxicity at workplaces emerges the most. But being on LinkedIn and building my own business was a life-changer for me (and many other women I know.) It gave me freedom. It gave me flexibility. It gave me the ability to be there for my family. I pray the same for every working mum. 😇 P.S. Do you think remote work should be the "standard", not a "choice" for companies today? Let's talk.

I don't worry about "low reach" on LinkedIn. But... I obsess over "Profile Views". Here's why: 1. No one makes purchase decisions in the feed 2. They make purchase decisions on your profile 3. Viral posts don't matter if profile views are low Think of it like this... Your profile is like a store in a super crowded mall. 1. Your main job is to increase "foot traffic" 2. Your next job is to make sure you "convert" 3. Your biggest job is to make 1 + 2 "repeatable" My proven ways to increase profile views (repeatedly): 1. Clear / catchy headline → first 45 characters 2. Well-written profile copy → for repeat visitors 3. Really good comments → "add" your expertise 4. Actively adding 2nd and 3rd degree connections Why? Because none of these depend on "post views". Turn "views" into "paid visits" → That's the goal! Hope this helps. (If so, repost for others, please ♻️) P.S. Do you ever check "Who's Viewed Your Profile"?
