One small step in the history of science; one giant leap for Machine Learning. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2024 #NobelPrize in Physics to John J. Hopfield and Geoffrey E. Hinton “for foundational discoveries and inventions that enable #machinelearning with artificial neural networks.” A big day for #AI!

To conclude our MLx Generative AI track, we were honoured to have Reza Khorshidi, D.Phil. (Oxon) introduce the emerging "Generation-first AI Products" concept. 🏭 In these products, the core user experience is built around hyper-contextualised and personalised AI-generated content (whether text, images, or videos) created on-demand, rather than simply retrieved from existing sources.
