A big thank you to Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. for the incredible #DLRTecDays2025 and warm hospitality at the historical German Bundestag! The last two days were filled with insightful discussions, showcasing innovative space companies, and connecting with inspiring people - Mathilde Morée, Markus Winkler, Thorsten Graber, Richard Hofmeister - passionate about shaping the future of space solutions. 🚀 It became clear that EU space tec manufacturing resilience is crucial to our society. Innovative energy solutions are key to meet the growing demands for greater computing power and to support space explorations. 🌍 It is great that elementarhy, supported by European Space Agency - ESA, is taking part in this journey and I look forward to further collaboration in the production of green hydrogen and oxygen in space - vital raw materials for machines and people 😊

We are supported by the European Space Agency - ESA to develop the elementarhy part (Membrane Electrode Assemblies) for electrolyzer in space 🚀 with the following benefits: Efficient Oxygen & Hydrogen Production for Space Missions MEA electrolyzers enable high-efficiency water splitting, producing oxygen for life support and hydrogen as fuel, essential for sustainable space missions. Unmatched Cost & Resource Efficiency for Space Equipment We scale best-in-class MEAs using 20x less iridium, cutting costs by up to 50% and enable more cost and ressource efficient space equipment. Compact, Lightweight, and Durable Design for Space Craft Lightweight with minimum requirement of add-on periphery, robust, and space-saving, MEAs will be perfectly suited for spacecraft and extreme environments like microgravity and temperature extremes. With tested performance and scalable solutions on earth we expand our product line to the growing space economy. Curious about our space tech developments 🛸 ? The hydrogen economy faces enormous costs and critical raw material challenges. The current electrolyzer technologies in EU & US are not cost efficient scalable. But what if? We could reduce the use of critical raw materials by 20 times and the costs by 50% for the key components. Learn more about elementarhy solutions to scale the hydrogen economy and live in a zero emission society. Special thanks for the strong support from Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg (EEHH), Hamburg Invest, H2UB, InnovationLab GmbH, Plug and Play Tech Center & Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP Greifswald) e.V., Leibniz-Gemeinschaft and Gunnar Weber #bearfilm team.
