About us
Empowerment Resources Inc., a private 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Empowerment Resource's Journey Into Womanhood™ (JIW) program originally started as a summer program in 2003. Due to the success of the program and request from parents, youth, and the community, the JIW program was extended throughout the year. Most JIW components are presented by community agencies and businesses that volunteer their time and service. In 2006, Empowerment Resources added other programs and services to meet the needs of the community. Empowerment Resources seeks to not only to empower youth and their families, but to establish community partnerships and expose families to other community resources.

JIW Applications are being accepted for 3rd - 11th grade for the 2024-2025 program year. Get more info https://lnkd.in/gGUn8PU8 We will offer an informational meeting for girls and parents at our Arlington location right before our JIW meeting this Saturday, September 28 from 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Girls are welcome to stay and join for the regular JIW meeting from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Please RSVP for the informational meeting by emailing info@empowermentresourcesinc.org.
