This also includes cooperation with countries from other regions. A further objective of the Consortium is to contribute to a greater dialogue between members, by organising joint events and engaging in scholarly research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

    Last week, from 18 to 20 November 2024, IUSDRP directors Amanda Lange Salvia and João Eustachio participated in the International Student Symposium on the SDGs and the Research-in-Progress Workshop, hosted by one of IUSDRP’s esteemed members, University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. The event was part of the inter-institutional project, “The Digital Introduction of the Sustainable Development Goals into Higher Education Teaching – Regional Aspects in Implementing the SDGs from Brazil and South Africa”. It was organised by the Department of Geography at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in collaboration with project partners from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Universidade de Passo Fundo. The symposium provided a platform for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to showcase the results of their research projects related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This interdisciplinary forum, with global reach, offered students a unique opportunity to exchange ideas on the SDGs with peers, academics, and researchers dedicated to advancing the 2030 Agenda. 📚🌍 Events like these highlight the importance of collaboration in fostering innovative solutions to global challenges. 👉 For more upcoming events, visit: https://lnkd.in/e32qE_VU.

This Symposium, under the theme "Incorporating Sustainability in International Business Education Programmes," aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among North American and European academics and practitioners committed to advancing sustainability in business education.   Background Building upon a history of transatlantic cooperation in sustainability, this Symposium will serve as a platform for experts in the field of sustainable development in higher education to share insights, research, and strategies. The symposium series is an initiative of the European-North American Sustainability Research Consortium (ENASRC), which is dedicated to promoting sustainable development collaboration. 📄Abstract Submission Guidelines An abstract should be up to 300 words long, describing the rationale and aims of the paper and some of its results, and should be consistent with the conference theme.
