👋 Encino Environmental Services, LLC LDAR Campaign - West Africa💪 We’re proud to share some great photos taken during the successful completion of our recent LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) campaign on offshore oil platforms and a storage tanker barge in West Africa. This project demonstrated the importance of precision, adaptability, and collaboration in delivering high-quality results for our customer. We utilized Quantitative Optical Gas Imaging (Q-OGI) with the SENSIA Mileva 33 handheld camera to ensure precise and reliable results. Key team members included Daniel Carias, Juan Rosales, and alternate Arturo Ochoa, whose expertise and adaptability were vital to the campaign’s success. The project presented unique challenges, including logistical complexities and high winds typical of offshore environments, which tested our planning and execution. Additionally, language barriers arose, but our Spanish-speaking Q-OGI technicians were able to bridge communication gaps effectively, fostering collaboration and understanding with Portuguese-speaking locals. We are proud to announce that Encino Environmental Services, LLC has been awarded two substantial grants as part of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) initiative to reduce methane emissions in the oil and gas sector. These projects are part of the Biden Administration’s Investing in America agenda, which has allocated $850 million across 43 projects to advance innovation and sustainability.   Our first project, the Advanced Methane Reduction System, will deploy cutting-edge continuous emissions monitoring technology to enhance flare performance, reduce methane emissions, and create jobs and training opportunities for underserved communities. Our second project, Advancing Methane Emissions Reduction through Innovative Technology, intends to develop and deploy a technology incorporating sensors and composite materials to address emissions originating in storage tanks.
