Introducing our next speaker for ESWcon25: Ross Widenor, Lead Strategic Project Manager - Sustainability Office at Bridgestone Americas! Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Ross received a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University before joining Bridgestone in 2013. During his career, he has progressed through roles in Materials Science, Compound Development, Open Innovation, and Strategic Planning, and now supports the Sustainability Office as a Project Manager for key activities moving Bridgestone towards its 2050 sustainability goals. Ross will give a talk on “ENLITEN Technology: Enabling sustainability as a tire performance attribute”. Description: As part of Bridgestone's E8 Commitment, the company has set global targets to be 100% carbon neutral and use 100% sustainable materials by 2050. ENLITEN Technology, including innovations in materials science and structural engineering, integrates sustainability parameters alongside long-standing tire performance metrics, paving the way to a future of sustainable mobility.
