💡 Meet our partner 👥 This week we want to take a closer look at the role of our valued EU Project AeroSolfd partner ZF Group. The effectiveness of a brake dust particle filter as a retrofit solution to reduce fine particle emissions largely depends on its impact on key parameters of the complex brake, particularly temperature changes. In the EU Project AeroSolfd, ZF Group brings its deep knowledge of wheel-end solution dynamics and its R&D capabilities to support a brake dust particle filter solution that further reduces overall vehicle emissions. 🚚 💨 ZF Group has a long-standing reputation for developing advanced braking technologies and has consistently been at the forefront of brake system innovation. From pioneering anti-lock braking systems (ABS) in the area of brake control, to advancing single-piston air disc brakes with its industry-leading MAXX series, ZF Group has continued to enhance the safety, durability, and performance of its braking technologies for commercial vehicles. By bringing this wealth of knowledge and experience to the EU Project AeroSolfd project, ZF Group helps to ensure that the brake dust particle filter solution is effective, sustainable, and reliable, contributing to cleaner roads. #Sustainability #Industry #CleanerAir #Retrofitting #MeetOurPartner

🔄 ThrowbackTuesday ⏰ A great thank you to Cenex Nederland for representing the EU Project AeroSolfd at the Mobility Fair and the Amsterdam InChange | formerly known as Amsterdam Smart City Demo Day! The event brought together experts, innovators, and partners, all focused on creating a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future. 👏 💚 The visitors were informed of innovative air filtration solutions for metro stations, vehicle tailpipes, and brakes developed by the EU Project AeroSolfd. To gain insights into the concept of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and their role in product sustainability, those interested, engaged in a game of the Cyclum Vitae board game. 🃏 Together with the participants, we put together a concept board to see how we could improve urban air quality in Amsterdam. Maybe some of the ideas could be used in other cities and countries? 🤔 💡 #MobilityFair #Amsterdam #AeroSolfd #AwarenessRaisingActions #CleanerUrbanAir
Last week’s Cenex Nederland Mobility Fair and Amsterdam InChange | formerly known as Amsterdam Smart City InChange Demo Day (formerly Amsterdam Smart City Demo Day), hosted by AMS Institute at the Marineterrein, was a truly inspiring gathering! The event brought together a dynamic mix of experts, innovators, and partners, all focused on exploring new solutions to create a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future. We enjoyed, the interactive working sessions on security risks in the energy transition, marketplace for used business assets, the use of mobility scenarios, and environmental impact of products and services through a serious game. During the mobility fair, we learned about groundbreaking air filtration solutions for metro stations, vehicle tailpipes, and brakes from the EU Project AeroSolfd, and played the Cyclum Vitae board game to help understand what Life Cycle Assessments are, and how LCA plays a role in product sustainability. Additionally, MIT Senseable City Lab shared their insights on air quality measurement projects, displaying various hardware technologies used in real-world monitoring. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Aslinur Bali from the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, who showcased the interconnected platforms designed to enhance urban mobility, traffic safety, and data-driven decision-making in Türkiye. The platforms provide a connected ecosystem for urban mobility analysis, improving road safety and data-based decision processes. Moreover, Coding the Curbs showcased their innovative urban mobility project, which aims to optimize curb space for dynamic city use. 🙏 A big thank you to all the speakers, workshop leaders, and attendees for making the event such a success. Let's continue tackling innovation challenges! #Innovation #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Mobility #EnergyTransition #AMSInstitute #CenexNederland #AeroSolFD #CenexNederland
